Azure Tincture

Born and raised in New York City, my passion for visual storytelling started on the streets of the city that shaped me. My craft was forged under the mentorship of a veteran photographer at Art Lab Inc. in Snug Harbor, Staten Island — a foundation that taught me to see light, character, and moment as one.

After years of exploring the creative landscape from Austin, Texas, I've returned home to NYC — and the city's energy is pushing my art into new directions. Lately I've been colorizing my images to create a polarizing, otherworldly effect. Blue runs through everything I make: it's the cool industrial tone that gives my work its signature edge.

My approach is improvisational. I work with practical, portable gear — primarily Sony cameras — and I adapt to any environment to pull out the story that's already there. From intimate studio portraits to raw street moments, every frame is built around authenticity.

Over the years I've worked across a wide spectrum — from academic professionals and MUAs to models, musicians, and sex workers. I've covered concert stages and fashion runways, captured events and editorial concepts, and been published in online publications. The common thread is people: raw, real, unguarded.

My work has taken me through studio fashion shoots, on-location commercial projects, runway coverage, and street photography — and I bring the same intensity to all of it. Every concept is an opportunity to push the visual boundary a little further.
